Long-Awaited Assisted Living Facility Opens In WaterlooWATERLOO, IA (December 23, 2007)
- Affordable assisted living has finally made its way to Waterloo with the help of James & Associates Commercial Construction Co. The Rose Of Waterloo, a 64-unit assisted living complex has opened its doors to an enormous need.
The $8.9 million facility overcame a devastating casualty this past summer when a fire ripped through the building causing a total loss. The project was within months of opening when the fire hit. It has been suspected that a homeless person may have ignited the flames by trying to stay warm near the facility. James & Associates immediately worked with local officials to get the building back on track.
Just six months later the 64-unit complex was completely restored marking what will be a memorable Grand Opening. It was incredible seeing the structure being put back up with such diligent work and intense workforce. James & Associates V.P. Bill Clark stated that the project could have never been fast tracked in such a productive way, had it not been for incredible support from all of their sub contractors. It really shows how teamwork pays off.
